What information does my patient receive before, during, and after a referral has been made for them?
Your patient will be kept up-to-date with their referral. This article explains what information they receive.
The patient will receive an SMS message to their mobile phone when the referral is created. We want them to know that their doctor has sent the referral and that GetReferd is actively working on their appointment.

If the patient has requested the optional email notification, they’ll receive an email in addition to the SMS message.
“Following your recent visit we have started the process of finding a referral for you. Once we have an appointment for you we will contact you via email and text. Thanks.“
The patient will receive a second SMS message to their mobile phone when the referral is accepted and the appointment is created.

The message includes a link that the patient can follow to see the important details of their appointment: Who, When, Where.

If the patient has requested the optional email notification, they’ll receive an email in addition to the SMS message.
